Robyn Golden-Hann : Letter-Cutter

A traditionally trained stone-mason and former head-carver at Salisbury cathedral, Robyn went on to study letter-cutting at David Kindersley’s renowned Cambridge studio, before she eventually moved to Project Workshops in 2006.

Robyn hand-carves letters in stone and slate, creating bespoke memorials, plaques and public inscriptions. Each commission is unique, created in close collaboration with the client and designed to sensitively reflect the person commemorated whilst remaining appropriate to the intended location.

Previous commissions include Royal opening plaques for Salisbury District Hospital and the memorial slate for Sir Edward Heath in Salisbury cathedral.
